I am Manjistha, and my colour was never invented, it was extracted, the way something true usually is. My wine runs deep and unbroken, gold florets scattered across me like they've been part of this ground since before anyone thought to weave. I don't do bright, I do rich, there's a difference and I intend to keep it. My pallu grows denser still, a fan lattice packed close, my one indulgence after all that restraint. Some colours fade with wear, mine only deepens, which was rather the point of choosing me.

Description
Manjistha is a katan silk Banarasi in deep wine maroon, her body scattered with gold floral butis in an unhurried, breathing rhythm. Her border curves into soft gold scallops traced with vine work, while the pallu shifts into a dense fan-shaped lattice bordered by a running floral vine, echoing the same rich detailing throughout.

Care Instructions
Silk rewards patience. Dry clean for the first wash. After that, cold water and a gentle hand. Never wring it, never rush it. Dry in the shade — silk and sunlight are not friends. Iron on the reverse, low heat, while it is still slightly damp.
